Bake a difference cake Sale
Concern Worldwide that helps people living in other countries who are in poverty
Our steps to organising the cake sale
- Spoke with the children in assembly about the aim of the cake sale and explained where the money will go.
- Children at the baking club made posters to put up in school to advertise our cake sale.
- Children at baking club designed buns and wrote down the things they would like to put on the cakes.
- We decided as a group which cakes we would make for the sale.
- The children helped bake the cakes in the week running up to the sale. we made chocolate and victoria sponge and chocolate and treacle crispies.
- the children then helped decorate the cakes with sweets, chocolate and icing.
- We decided to bag 4 buns in a bag and sell for £1.
- We sent text messages to parents reminding them about the sale and talked about it again in assembly.
We were then ready to sell the cakes.
WE MADE A FANTASTIC £221 FOR THE WORLD AID CHARITY!
We had lots of fun taking part in the cake sale.
