Multicultural Olympiad

Our school is part of a group of schools working collaboratively to help children develop their understanding of the diverse community and world they are part of.

Four children represented our school in a Project Doncaster Arts Event at Town Fields School.

The children took part in a Bhangra dancing session led by Satnam Singh and also worked with children from other schools to create some Indian artwork.  They used Traditional Indian designs to create waistcoats, drums and decorative Indian elephants.

The afternoon culminated with a demonstration of Indian drumming from Satman Singh.
