Sign 2 Sing

This term we have been teaching the children some basic sign language and the Sign to Sing event has really raised the profile of it. We are very proud to have taken part in the World Record attempt and have been informed that the previous record of 13,418 was smashed on the day as over 100,000 children and adults sang and signed ‘I’d like to teach the world to song’ at the same time. We are continuing to develop the children’s skills as they are really enjoying the signing and it has been recommended by the speech and language therapists as a way of supporting and developing the children’s communication skills.
