This morning Mrs Blagden did a Christmas assembly via zoom and we had a surprise visitor. Father Christmas came to see us. One of his elves was poorly, so because he couldn’t come in to school he joined us online instead. He spoke to all the children and read a Christmas story. Father Christmas told the children he would like a mince pie or a cookie leaving out for him and a glass of milk and a carrot for Rudolph on Christmas Eve. He did tell all the children that he would be very quiet as he came into their house but they all needed to be fast asleep.
Father Christmas also brought a surprise for all the children. He bought tickets for all the children to see a live pantomime tomorrow in their classrooms. The pantomime is being shown live via the internet, Cinderella. We are all so excited to be able to watch this.
